Ranch Rodeo May 28th, 2003

Craig County Fairgrounds, Vinita, Oklahoma

Enjoy!  It was a fun time - for the spectators and some of the "wild" cows.

Now, for those of you who don't know what a ranch rodeo is - it's good old-fashioned cowboy family fun.  Teams of 4 compete to see who can ride, rope, doctor, mug, milk and load in the quickest time.

Wild Cow Milkin' at it's finest.  These guys have to get enough milk into a plastic water bottle - yes, small opening - that can be poured out.  Then they have to take the rope off the cow and run with the milk and rope across the rough arena to a designated spot for time to be called.  If they got enough milk - yahoo.  If they didn't.....no time.

This cow's bigger than the horse!

And how many cowboy's does it take to milk a cow????

By golly, they got 're done!!!!!
