Grandbabies, Neighbors, Pups, Hearts Day

Ben is a genius !  All that grain scooping - though good for keeping fit - took time.  He cut a hole in the barn and as you can see, the spout goes right over the grain bin.                    HAPPY HEARTS DAY.  HUG THE ONE YOU LOVE.

Shelly Kinney holds Kayla who came from Ed Hamersley.  Paul picked out one of Lena's pups - looks like ole "Black Head" really picked out Paul.  Colt's sister, Reba stopped by.  She's telling Allen (Sanders) enough of this "down" business - let's go.

Bragging rights.  Family get-together first part of February.  New grandson, Joseph Daniel, gets loves from l - r Aunt Gwen, Mom Karen, and Grandma Mary.  Paul and Shelly Kinney drove down from Iowa to pick up pups and work dogs with Ben.  Paul had a really nice red/white Border Collie male that he'd done a good job with.  Paul was a quick study and called about a week later to say that he and his dogs put the hurt on the 120 momma cows getting them all gathered and in the pens.

First of February - "Dan" 12 weeks old gets serious about the calves.  He turns one back and helps Ben and Lena keep them all together.

Mike Booth, Tahlequah, Oklahoma drove up to pick out a pup.  Ben works Lena for them.  He chooses "Rescue" the slick coated black and white female who looks like Lena.  Septic tank cleaning service !!  Ben cracked open the septic tank all by himself - we figured it hadn't been cleaned in a lot of years.  Neighbor Butch Langley stopped on the way by to help Ben shove the big cement lid back on.

Winter caught up with us end of January.  Pup "Dan" has a cardinal visitor sharing his puppy food.

Mammouth Springs, Arkansas - Ben got this great picture on a dog trip over to Ron Collins'.  Keeper gathering.
