June 2006. Seems
like it's hotter earlier. Neighbors Kelsie and Lily Kessel
ride down, Mark Bishop, Heber Springs, AR hauls over, Andy
and Janie Milarr, Welch, OK stop by, Bud and Shorty Highsmith's
annual Memorial friends and family doings, meet "Cutter Bill", and
the Tate Ranch Sale filled the first part of our month.

Left: Ben gets Mack ready for the Tate
Ranch Replacement Heifer Sale the first of June. |

The heat has stayed above
normal the first part of June. Doesn't seem to
bother the goats. |

|
Kelsie Kessel comes to get "Jose Three
Stripe." We "kid" sat while the family
went to see Grandma in Florida. |
|

For kid sitting, Ben got a cool pink
flamingo pen and gave Leslie the "In Dog Years You'd
be Dead" plaque. Lilly (left)
and Kelsie (right) Kessel rode down with our prizes. |

Pastor Mark Bishop and his
Associate Pastor drove over early from Heber Springs, AR.
More goats - Diamond, MO sale. |
|
|
|

Andy and Janie Millarr,
Welch, OK stop by with styrofoam and to check on their
dog, Darby. Leslie's "Cadillac" awaits to take
her over to the Tate Ranch sale. Complete with sun
visor. |

Bud and Shorty Highsmith's
annual Memorial Weekend fish and calf fry. Family, friends
and neighbors. This was a small portion of the folks in
the family center of the Welch Christian Church |

God's wonderful sunrise.
Right - Ben spends half of the holiday weekend fixing a
clogged drain to the kitchen.

Meet "Cutter Bill."
A nice 3 year old gelding that's Hancock, King, Leo
and Peppy San Badger bred. Ben says he's a cat.
Sits down and turns on that rear and quick-minded. |

Scooter and Slingshot say
hi. Man what a couple weeks, watering and TLC
can do for a cowboy's helter-skelter garden. We
now have a tomato "bush", yellow squash will be ready
soon. Yummmm. |
|

Tate Ranch Manager, Darvin
Nix does the last sort before the sale ring. |
|
|
 |

Wow, Tate Ranch sure hires
some handsome cowboys, left, to work their sale. Above -
Matt Fullbright (gray horse) rolls them into the holding
pens. Oh yeah, Ben worked 4 outside dogs too. |
