More great folks

who've stopped by.

Bela and Monica Tar of Estero, Florida

Bela and Monica dropped by to drop off a dog for training mid September. We had a nice chance to visit with them and get caught up on all their news.  They were able to spend a few days touring northeastern Oklahoma.

Bela and Monica are Hungarian and have introduced Kelpies to that country.

Bela took home a lariat.

Forest Green of Adair, Oklahoma

Forest works for Cherry Cattle Company.  He stopped by September 8th to pick Ben's brain about incorporating dogs into the ranch work.

He invited us out to watch them gather the next morning.  What a treat.

Early morning gather.

Bernard and Kay Means

 Lockwood, Missouri

Can you tell which brother is the youngest??  Bernard and Kay drove over to spend part of a Saturday with us the end of August.  A wonderful day, but much too short!

Ed Hamersley, Walker, Missouri and Ben "brainstorming."

Ben working Ed's Bill dog - 14 days.

Our good friend Ed stopped by the day before we lost electricity for 10 hours August 23rd. (Thank goodness for the folks at REC working round the clock.) Ed and wife Bobbi were our first visitors in July after we officialy moved in at Bluejacket.  Funny, the electrical outage put Leslie and her computer out of business, but it didn't stop Ben from working his dogs, including the 2 new ones Ed left for training.

Glenn Guttridge of

Gainesville, Texas

Longtime Kelpie and Border Collie breeder, Glenn Guttridge dropped in on us early August with a couple of dogs for training.  We enjoyed Glenn's visit and our time getting caught up on each other's news.

Kim Ezell of Haskell, Oklahoma

Kim stopped by July 23rd to drop off her dogs, Tucker and Sadie for training.  Kim and her husband, Al, recently purchased a 2600 acre spread near Ft. Smith Arkansas.  They run a large number of cattle.  Pictured below is Ben with Kim (right) and her friend Angie (left).

Charlie Lewis of Laramie, Wyoming

stopped by to say "Howdy" June 18th at our new spread in Bluejacket, Oklahoma.  Ben welcomed a break from unloading the trailer to "talk dogs."  Seems like there were sure a lot of boxes!
