Glenn and Sally Eicher, Bob Apperson

Brrrrrr.......Wednesday morning is a little chillier than most have been so far this winter.  As you can see we got snow on top of sleet.  The pasture calves were all hunkered up around the feed bunks.  Ben's glad he didn't trade in his lined Carhartt's for an unlined pair.  Silly him thought we might have a milder winter.  Nasty's all cozy in his stall and sure looks glad of it.  Ben closed the north barn door last night so the snow wouldn't blow in.  He's pretty cozy too training dogs this morning.

The new kids on the block.  Ben visited Bob Apperson, Welch, Oklahoma and brought home two Border Collie puppies.  Bob raises some really nice Quarter Horses.  He usually has mares and colts.

Glenn and Sally Eicher, St. James, Missouri

The Eicher's drove over Monday, December 8th to bring Sissy, their year old Border Collie female for Ben to check out and keep for training.

Glenn had lived in this area years ago, so knew that the Welch Sale Barn restaurant was one of the best places to eat.  They dropped in there for lunch before coming on out to the place.

Above Sally, Glenn and Ben - right was the equine audience.

L-R Mack, Chic and Jim.
