Harvey Price,
Holdenville, Oklahoma drove up to drop off Jesse to be bred.
Ben said he'd breed her to Double. Harvey had to turn
around pretty quickly to drive back down for the county fair
livestock sale. Two granddaughter's had 4-H projects
and they sold tonight. |

Long weekend
March 5, 6, 7 and we were busy both places! Ben stayed
at the "ranch" while Leslie headed for the Sundowner
Stockdog Association "Shootout" in Coleman, Oklahoma.
Ron, Charlie and
Jancy Collins drove over from Arkansas Friday morning to
pick up Charlie's dog Ruby. They left a nice young
male for training that is by Ron's good male dog Spike.
Ed Hamersley
made it too. He picked up Belle, checked on Gizmo's
progress and had a good day working dogs with Ben and the
Collins'. |

Above right Ben
gives "Pam" a try. Billy Blue of Lexington, Oklahoma sent
her up for training. Leslie got to meet Billy and his
lovely wife Anna, pictured above, at the Sundowner trial and
hauled Pam home. Pam made a good travel companion.
The highlight of
Leslie's weekend was meeting Aaron and Shelly Hayes of Caney,
Oklahoma pictured above left. Aaron has a ministry he
calls 3C Ministries. Cowboys and Cowdogs in Christ.
Aaron gave the services Sunday morning for the Sundowner
Stockdog Association Shootout Trial. If you are having an
event and would like to have a "cowboy" service, Aaron can be
reached at 580-889-6979 or
