Tuesday, July 13th - Chiropractic day.  Above Perch gets adjusted by Dr. Bill and she does an "oh-that-felt-so-good" roll.  Right - Rawhide spies a terrapin on our walk!


Between rains on Monday, July 12th.  It's starting to heat up - heat index over 100. Ben and Pansy Bell, Saltillo, Texas, meet in McAlester to exchange dogs.


Nephew John Mareth returned from Iraq last week to Ft. Leonard Wood in Missouri and made it home to his family Sunday the 11th.

Saturday, July 10th - Fred Wheat, Parsons, Kansas drove down to pick up "Jet."  Right is an Anatolian Shepherd he was hauling down to some folks east of Welch.  Beside running cow/calves, Fred also runs Katahdin (hair sheep), so he has some guardian dogs.  Above right, Fellow Cowboy Juntion'er, Bob Kerby, Democratic Co. Commissioner candidate, puts on a fish fry at the Welch Community Center.  Though we're not Democrats, we know Bob will be a good one.


Friday, July 9th - Neighbor Jack Warden stops by to check out the 3 year old "Jim."  He's looking for a head horse.  Friday evening we went out to eat with our study buddies.  About a half dozen were missing with ballgames and work.
