Monday, September 13th, Louise Markham gives praise reports during church service.  Tuesday, the 14th, Mike Kessel drops by to borrow Ben's bosal.  Saturday, the 18th, Chris Langley stops by to talk horses and dogs.


Saturday, September 11th. Vinita Calf Fry Days.  Ben went to the Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo grounds to check out the festivities and the ranch rodeo.  It was so full, he didn't wait to get in.  Monday, September 13th.  The fill-in-the-swimming-pool project entered its final phase.  Craig Duvall hauled over 20 loads of dirt.  By golly, they got it filled in and then went down in the pasture to make a crossing over the branch to get into the northwest pasture by pickup.


Wednesday, September 8th.  Leslie made a quick drive to Kansas City for the AVCA Annual Meeting.  The view from her room at the Downtown Marriott.  The AGM was in conjunction with the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association  Leslie is pictured with AHVMA president, Dr. Madalyn Ward, Texas.  Friday, September 10th.  Ben slipped over to Bryan and BJ Mooney's near Welch.  They run cattle and use Australian Shepherds and Heelers in their operation.

Monday, September 6th.  This was a busy day.  Jack Warden stopped by to shoe Chic.  He went to the Tate Ranch to get some riding time.  Matt Fullbright stopped in with Casey, Derrick Grigsby nice red heeler female.


Sunday, September 5th - McSpadden Pasture Roping.  138 teams ran twice in the afternoon. If you weren't there, you missed it !!  Monday was the finals (1200 pound steers) and the 1/2 mile barrel race - that's right 1/2 mile - the pond was the third barrel and home was al uphill !

Girls rope too.  The dummy roping was a big hit.  Center, Matt Fullbright, Jack Warden and Ben.  Right - Oliver Woolman (that's right, Tee's dad) gives Chris Langley last minute advice.
