Saturday,
October 16th. Keep and Ben on Mack two-man it
around the pond. Janet and John Mareth and family
drive over from Mt. Vernon, Missouri. Rachel is
looking for a 4-H dog and Uncle Ben just happened to
have one. L-R Ben, Brook, Mom Janet, Levi, Ivan, Rachel
with "Frisky" and Dad John. Rachel promised to
send pictures of she and Frisky once they got into
training. |

Rainy Tuesday,
Ed drives over to work dogs. Chic comes back from the
Tate Ranch and Ben stops by Rick Reed, DVM clinic in Nowata. |

Monday,
October 11th. Rain, rain - we've needed it.
Darvin and Tonya Nix stopped by to pick out one of the
puppies. They run several 1,000 head on the Tate
Ranch. Above Ben and Darvin work Ginger. Ben
loaned Ginger to them to work with their Kate female
until the new pup is grown. |

Saturday,
October 9th - Yep, motorcycles ! Leslie went in to the
church to photograph Riders for Christ - Cowboys and Bikers.
Click here for pictures. That afternoon we went to
Horse Creek Tack, Bill and Mary Aldinger. Ben and Bill
working on an Australian saddle. |

Friday,
October 8th, Jack Dodson, Welch, Oklahoma, stops in to
leave off "Tom" for training. He got "Tom" from Ben
last winter. Right - Rawhide models AVCA apparel for their
flyer.

Wednesday,
October 6th. Tonya Nix (new AVCA secretary) and
Twila discover the new Border Collie puppies ! Right,
Dr. Justin Campbell with son Paden. Dr. Justin, an
AVCA Certified Doctor,
met Leslie in Muskogee to adjust the dogs. |

Monday,
October 4th Mike Kessel and Ben are giving Mike's
cutting horse futurity prospect a once over. Tuesday the
5th, Carl Tate and Wayne Lewler drive over from Lynchburg, Missouri with to pick up
Carl's
Hemp, leave off a female for training and some nice puppies. |

Left Bernard and
Ben Means made a quick trip to their old stomping grounds in
Colorado the end of September. They went some far out
places, besides making the rounds to their old schools,
schoolmates and stopping off at John Duvall's near Granada
to pick up dogs. |
