Ben takes the pups out.
Such a
beautiful day Sunday, April 27th. Ben worked on
welding a fence panel and extended the "circle of
electricity" to include his dog run gravel pile. Seems
the young horses had fun playing king of the pile.
Late
afternoon found Ben taking his puppies to the goats.
Doesn't seem like any one of them got a gold star today.
Slingshot and Perch helped Ben with the puppies. |

Foggy Saturday,
April 26th. Ben had turned out this weeks training calves
to the big pasture last night. He came in for a cup of
coffee this morning while the fog lifted. Leslie went out
to chore and Keeper spied the pasture calves north of the pond.
That dark speck off to the right of the pond near the tree line
in the lower right photo is Keep. |

rounded up and headed to the corrals. |

|
Headcount
revealed some were not with the main bunch. Ben sorted off
a new set of calves while Leslie saddled up to go look for the
others. Keep found them off in some brush in a corner of
the big pasture. Keep drove them back toward the corrals.
