Raz and Ellie get new homes.

Jim Tapley of Greenbriar, AR

Jim drove in the early wee hours Thursday morning the 17th to be here when Ben worked dogs.  He picked up his Katie female and hauled home "Ellie" that is going to Ben's good friend, Janis Skiles who lives near Jim.

Below Keeper moves the 2 new goats out to find the herd in the pasture and Jim locks Ellie and his Katie in for the long ride home.  It takes him about 5 hours on 4 lane.

Ben, RB, Raz and Marie

Ruenette Boyette of Glencoe, OK

RB not only took off work Wednesday the 16th to drive over to pick up "Raz", but got her boss to come with her.  RB and Marie Montelongo got here midday.  Visited the dogs and were able to spend some "dog talk" time with Ben.

"Razzer's" now 9 months had a lot of firsts - riding loose in the back seat, a stop at McDonald's and a bath!  Sounds like a tough life.  We're still waiting to hear how the introduction to madam "Jade" the queen Australian Cattle Dog went.

We're hoping they'll all come back for visits as time permits.  RB does obedience, agility and herding with her dogs.

Brush hog Tuesday!  Nice cool breeze Tuesday morning the 15th.  Something we haven't had for awhile.  It's been a 2 shower day for several weeks now.  Ben was ready to go with the brush hog.  Yipee.  Leslie hopes it decimates the monster chigger population as she seems to be the main course some days.

Below, Jim the 2 year old wants a close up sniff of the camera.

Below right, Leslie's canine side kick for 15 years, Katy, is letting Leslie know morning chores are done and it's time to open up the office and get to work.  Yeah, Katy - she just likes snoozing in the air conditioning on the plushy carpet.
