Keeping Busy at PSD

Saturday, February 22nd

After a day of rain, Ben says there's sunshine in Texas, at least the part he's in.  Jim and Judy Etling's.  Reed Lanphere made it up to visit from down south of San Angelo.  Butch Larson was suppose to make it too.  And what are they doing with all their sunshine - working dogs, of course.  they swapped stories all last night, now they're gonna put their dogs where their mouth is :>))

Temps have turned off really cold here in NE Oklahoma - as compared to what we've been having.  Those "humorous" weathermen are calling for 8 - 10 inches of snow on Sunday!!!  We turned all the cattle out to the big pasture before Ben left.  If it drops as low as they say, Leslie will be chopping ice for water before he gets home.

Enjoying our last warm day for awhile on Friday - Rawhide, left, watching the activity.  Perch being headed, right, by one of those rotten 5 month old pups.

Wednesday, February 19th

Ben's leaving early in the morning for Jim and Judy Etling's at Newcastle, Texas, with a stop by Roy Cox's and Harley Stewart's, Oscar, OK on the way back.

After packing this afternoon, we took some of the dogs and pups for a run.  The day turned off pretty nice with some sunshine.  We're still wearing our long johns, but we did take off one outer layer!

L-R  Ben with Jesse pup in the lead, Cody (Duvall) pup hot on her heels.  Leslie holding the squirming Cody and Jesse who is almost 5 months now.
