Inventions, acquaintances and horses!

Brrrrr - ice on the water buckets!

Ben worked dogs between "breakfast and coffee time" warm-ups.  Crispy breeze this morning, Saturday, March 29th.  Leslie took the dogs for a spin.  We've noticed how cold our fingers have been the past two mornings.  We're certain it's the weather and not middle age :>))

Above: Rawhide, Below l - r: some ice in stream bed, Scooter the early morning fox, and ELLIE.

Joe Hopping, Coweta, OK

The Inventor is In!

Joe stopped by on Friday, the 28th for a visit.  He was on a cow-buying trip.  He and Ben worked a dog or two and visited about Joe and his brother Hoss' recent trip to New Zealand and, of course, dogs here and abroad.

Ben's huffed and puffed for the last time moving those heavy WW panels!  Leslie noticed an odd trail in the mud this evening.  Ben showed her what made the trail.  Note how he moves the panels with ease.  Priefert's got his head gate design, but they're not getting his panel wheel!

He couldn't make up his mind!

So he brought home a whole trailer load!

You name it, we got it - Harlan, Poco, Yellowjacket, Hancock, Three Bars and the list goes on!

A great horse resource site to visit is www.horsesonly.com  This is a fantastic site with free pedigree information, photos of the old greats and lots more.  Ben's strutting around with pedigree information on his new horses that goes back to the conquistadors!

Leslie fell in love with this rascal - Two D Two!
