Thursday - April 10th
Big day
for us. Ben's sister Donna Sue rode over with son
Steve from southwestern Missouri. Steve had business
in Oklahoma, so dropped his mom off for a visit.
Ben and
Sue had a wonderful time visiting, looking at old photos and
generally getting caught up on all the news. |

Tony Maeder, Bonham,
Texas
What a
big day on Thursday. Tony stopped in to stretch his
legs from a long drive. We were delighted for the
visit, but sympathetic as his father had passed away
unexpectedly the day before and he was making the long
journey to Iowa. Tony and Ben go way back to "ARF" and
Tom Stodghill days! |

Wednesday, April 9
Maybe,
just maybe spring is around the corner. Ice in the
water buckets again this morning. The wind laid down
and it warmed up enough that we took the dogs for a spin in
the pasture. |

Harley - they've really grown the past couple of weeks!
Middle is Ben's Kate with Harley in hot pursuit. Right
they are making the last leg back to the house. |

Ben's newest
acquisitions. "Mac" pictured left. "Jim" pictured in
the center and right. Ben and Jim made a few rounds in the
big pasture while Leslie was at the AVCA board meeting in Canada
during the northeastern blizzard. |
