Whew, summer arrived and we aren't sure where spring went.
We spent the last 6 weeks in the 40 Days of Community Study at
Cowboy Junction which ended with the Bill Raus Memorial Roping
and a celebration dinner. Many of you have stopped in for
a visit or to work dogs. We're off to the Memorial Weekend
Ranch Rodeo tonight. It'll be a couple weeks before we get
pictures changed. Again, please click on the photo to see

Branding time in Oklahoma. Neighbors help at the Ken Posey Ranch. Dr. Ron Leick (KY) adjusts Leslie's goat while Dr. Don Howard (OR) looks on. They serve on the Examinations Committee and were in town for exams. Dr Liz Pokorny helped out. Drs. Jennifer (Ontario) and Ava (MO) adjust Mia. Dr. Bill and Kris Schmidt, friends from Hot Springs, stopped by after the AVCA exams. Kris and Ben swapping stories. Pat and Cliff Copeland from New Mexico make the long drive to pick up Joe. They turned right around for home, Cliff dropping Pat at work next am. Cliff moving the calves with Joe. The Copelands run mostly cows and calves. Lena's Wyoming puppy Whip with his mistress, Tallie. Mom's checking on them early morning. Tallie sustained a concussion earlier that day. Bill Miller (KS) gives Buck a spin before they go home. Vern and Susan Thorp, Windrush Farms, New Sharon, Iowa, stopped over en route to Texas. Purebred Boers and Simmentals. Ben (2nd from left) with Fleeman (his mom's side) relatives at his cousin's funeral. Family reunions are more fun planned. Neighbor Mike Kessel and son Dylan came down to kill a snake one day when Ben was gone. Bill Raus Memorial Roping at Cowboy Junction, Vinita, OK Dillion Sherrick and Ben mean business. Meet Guy, Leslie's favorite from "One's" litter. Reba (right) comes for a visit. She and Colt have a romp.
