Look who's stopped by

to visit recently.

Bob, Penny, Katy and Justin King

of Quapaw, Oklahoma

The Kings stopped by Sunday, November 10th after running a squirrel field trial all day for Penny's dad, who had qualified for the world competition finals in Illinois.  We're still not certain of the breeds they are using, but it sounds like quite the sport.  We understand that Bob and Justin have their own squirrel dogs.

Bob does use Kelpies, so he and Ben were talking dogs.  "Perch" cozied up with Justin and the gals - Penny, Katy and Leslie - had a good visit.

Joe and Hoss Hopping

of Coweta, Oklahoma

Joe and Hoss came to pick up Tuffy November 1.  They arrived early morning with Mark Knott of Locust Grove, Oklahoma in tow.  They bundled up to stand in the crisp breeze watching Ben work his outside dogs.  Then warmed up in the house with good conversation and food before heading back to Coweta late morning.  Always a pleasure to work and talk dogs with these fellas.

Ben headed out shortly after for Harley Stewart's RRDCA Trial this weekend.  Gonna be a fun weekend.  Leslie's staying home to tend chores, so Ben promised to take lots of pictures.
