Thursday
February 5, Mr. Bill says, "We dodged the bullet one
more time." The bad winter storm went on by. We
think our buddy Ed H in Missouri got the worst of it. |
Below Collins'
Ruby (left) and Ed's Belle (right) wait for their turn to
work this morning. Right and below right Keeper
enjoying the snow. Below left, Katy and Mr. Bill on
the morning run. Katy 16 yrs and Mr. Bill 8 wks old!

Wednesday,
February 4th started off with "New Goat" joining "Jack
Warden" in the New Mexico feedlots via our "goat trader"
Spencer Huckaby. |
The snow started
about 2:30 in the afternoon and as you can see in the second
picture taken at 3:30, it looked like we were gonna get the
4 - 8 inches predicted. Below Ben's got Mr. Bill under
one arm and a board to shelter the opening to his dog house.
You'll note
right that Mr. Bill had other ideas - he thought the board
was for scaling. Nasty waiting patiently to be taken
to the barn and supper! |
"Hi there, I'm Mr.
Bill. What's your name??"

The new puppy
has a name - Mr. Bill. And he is making quite a hit as
you can tell by these photos. Already he's "heading"
the wheel barrow.
We did get a little
work done today. Mr. Bill and Ben get all the dogs worked
and Keep bringing in the training calves for water. |
