Saturday, May
30th. A nice sunny day with a big wind blew in Mike,
Morgan and Colton Booth from Tahlequah, Oklahoma who drove up to
get a Border Collie puppy from Ed Hamersley. Ron, Charlie
and Jancy Collins from Mammouth Spring, Arkansas drove over to
pick up their dog "Tee" and Lafarrel Wess' dog, Bandit. |

Wednesday, May
26th. A busy day. Rick Cole, Nowata, Oklahoma stopped
in to visit and talk dogs. Ben got the small pasture next
to the house bushhogged. Sheila (Kelpie) had 9 puppies.
Leslie thought one of the Kelpies was chasing a doe, but it
turned out to be a coyote. The doe would chase the coyote,
then he'd turn and chase her. Ben decided to end it.
One less coyote for Angel the guard dog to worry with.
However, it was a clean miss

Saturday, May
22nd. We slipped over to Greenfield, Missouri to visit
Ben's sister, Sue Gimlin and daughter Gwen and Russ and
grandkids. It was a pleasant day. We ate Chinese
with Sue then drove on over to Dadeville to see the kids
greenhouse venture. Sue used to have
greenhouses too and has given the Russ and Gwen lots of good
information. |
