The Bell's, Fred Wheat, Brian Little, Louis Johnson and George and Judy's BBQ

Saturday, June 5th.  Louis Johnson, Afton, Oklahoma stops by to ask about dogs to use on his 240 head of cows and heifers.  Ben used Lena to gather the training calves, bring them to the corrals, move them around and drive them back to the pasture to demonstrate what a trained dog that can handle cattle can do.  Right - Louis gets the nod from Chic, the 2 year old.

Friday, June 4th.  Bluejacket Study group gets together at fellow church member's George and Judy Jolly's BBQ in Adair.  We celebrated a couple of birthdays and a 57 year anniversary.  It was gospel music night.  It's a great band and super food if you're ever passing through that way.

Wednesday, June 2nd.  Left - Jim King and Brian Little, Wann, Oklahoma - both auctioneers and cattlemen.  Brian dropped off his Border Collie, Jack, for Ben to train.  Jim and Brian are Vinita Livestock Auction Auctioneers (Wednesdays) so it was a short stop.  Below - goats are growing and Ben's Kate peeks at the Kelpie puppies.

Monday, May 31st.  Fred Wheat, Parsons, Kansas, drove down to leave "Jet" for stockdog bootcamp.  Fred runs cattle and sheep and has used dogs for many years.  He had a sister to Jet that Ben had trained.

Left - Dopey sticking close to Ben as Jet shows her stuff.  Right - Fred and Ben putting Jet in her new "barracks."

Sunday, May 30th.  Don and Pansy Bell, Saltillo, Texas stopped in early before leaving for Cowboy Junction.  They were making a quick "dog trip."  Dropping "Susie" off here for Ben to work and then going to Neosho, Missouri to pick up a Brittany.  Don hunts, too.  Even though they had the travel trailer, they were heading back home for Memorial Day with their family.

Left - Leslie, Don and Pansy anchoring each other in the terrific winds.  Right - Jazz, the cat, usually goes on the dog runs.  Rawhide saying "hi."
