Neighbors stop by, John comes home

Sunday, July 18th.  Left, Jacob Martin brought us sweetcorn (hmmmm) and played with the puppies.  The puppies won.  Ben rescued Jacob. The photographer was laughing too hard. Welcome home for nephew John Mareth in Missouri.  Above John visiting with an ex-student and right, Ben's brother Bernard, wife Kay and one of their grandaughters.

Genius at work again.  Ben and Ed discussing Ben's latest invention.  Leslie's not sure she got it right - it's some sort of sprayer.  We worked the goats this weekend and left, Keeper breaking in "Skins" one of the Kelpie pups.

Friday, July 16th and Saturday, July 17th.  Lots of good company.  Ed Hamersley stopped in.  It was dog trading day.  He and Ben drove down to Muskogee to meet Casey Rindal, Pauls Valley, OK.  Neighbor Jack Warden stopped in to give Jim, the 3 year old, a try.  He rode him the couple of miles home.  Our study buddies, Richard and Shirlene Ayres rode the 5 plus miles from their house to ours for a visit.  Rawhide with one of the Kelpie pups.  They head west to new trappings soon.  A neighborhood meeting of the the four-wheelers - Jack Warden, Ben, Joe Langley, and Marvin Snodderly.  Shirlene's great antique saddle find.

Nephew John Mareth returned from Iraq last week to Ft. Leonard Wood in Missouri and made it home to his family Sunday the 11th.

Thank you John and the C Co. 203rd!!
