Mike and John had an early start Saturday morning.  John was weaning calves the day before and had one cow (Brahman) who was high-headed and on the fight.  She wouldn't leave the calves.  She also bought a ticket to the sale barn.  I didn't hear the whole story, but it sounds like she was quite the cow and the safest place was on the outside of the fence from her.  They got her loaded up and delivered this morning before heading up this way.

We fortified ourselves with coffee before heading out to work dogs.
