Busy Week in June

Sale Day in Welch.

Thursday is sale day at the Welch Livestock Auction.  Ben and Jim bringing up the calves so Ben could sort a couple off to haul in today the 19th.

So, let's see, he hauled in two and brought back two plus one goat.....  The newbies will stay up in the barn lot for sure - thunder storms this afternoon and tonight.

A great weekend.

The rainy, stormy weather went somewhere else so we had a pretty decent weekend though a little humid.  Art and Nancy Bryant, Richland, Missouri made it over Saturday with 2 young female Border Collies, as well as Harvey Price from Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Ben, Nancy and Art Bryant and Harvey Price.

We had a pleasant Saturday afternoon and evening talking and working dogs.  One day we're gonna get smart and tape record our guests who sure enough use dogs for a living.  Such great stories that should be kept.  A person just never knows what's gonna happen when they go out to do a job no matter how simple.

We finished off our weekend with Dad's Day calls from the kids and a fun lunch with new church acquaintances after services.

Left Ben works "Pudge" and above Lucy bringing the goats out of the corner.

Below Harvey, Ben and Art and Ophelia checks out Dopey to see if he could be dinner!
