PSD Happenings and Visitors

Monday, June 23rd

A little overcast and a humid.  Haven't checked the weather but some wet stuff must be rolling in.  Early morning Kelpie romp.  Above left Scooter heads Harley.  Above right Harley runs with Double.  Double must have had it in low gear because he can cover the ground and Harley now 6 months old was keeping up!  That's Jet in the middle.  We think he's probably saying that he wouldn't miss the dogs one bit if they left!  Jet's been a training goat for about 5 years now - he knows the deal.  Right Ophie with her "foster" mom.

Ben  went back to the neighbor's for more bronc-busting this morning.  He hauled his 2 year old along.  We'll keep you posted!

The Hopping brothers, Joe and Hoss dropped in Saturday evening to pick up Spook and Jan.  We worked dogs, had some pie, talked dogs and watched videos until late.  Sunday we got around, did chores and off to Cowboy Junction Church Services we went.  Later in the afternoon neighbor Mike Kessel dropped in.  Ben went back with him to see if they couldn't get the upper hand on a broncy (bron-kee) colt Mike was breaking.  Can't believe Leslie didn't run down to take pictures.  They all survived none the worse for wear.

Above left Jack McCoy and the CJ Singers winding up before services.  Right Hoss and Joe looking at some of the outside dogs.  Lower left Spook moving the calves and right Ben used Jan to drive them out after she gathered them from the side pasture.
