More chores and fun!

We consider ourselves very blessed.  Compared to other folks' livestock responsibilities, ours are very manageable.  And with two sets of hands (and a few paws :>)) we can get those chores done in short order in weather like this!

Keeper brought in the pasture calves.  Keep's a pretty good-sized, leggy dog.  He is standing in this picture!!

Sunday, February 23rd

Ben made it home in the nick of time!  Actually he pulled in after midnight from Oscar, Oklahoma.  Got the new dogs unloaded and some shuteye.  Leslie started the morning chores.  Ben caught up a little before it started spitting snow.  Light flurries around 8:30 am and you see the rest!

Harley was sure glad Ben made it home.  Here they are catching up on the news!  (Aren't they handsome.) Harley was not happy about the snow that's over his head!  Those ears sticking out at the upper left corner is Harley!

Friday & Saturday in Texas

It rained on them all day Friday.  So they spent the day swapping dog tales.  Saturday cleared off. sunshine and warm temps.  They hardly made it away from the table with coffee and Judy's good cookin'!  They managed to stroll by the dog pens on their way to the shop to check on Brian and his helpers.
