Pick me, pick me!  Hunter x Patch pups all go to new homes.

We're back.  Not that we went anywhere.  We've had so many great visitors, clients and dogs go through these last couple of months that we've hardly had time to turn on a computer. Thanks to those of you who "checked in" to make sure we were still around.  This is a brief catch-up.  It won't show everyone and all the dogs that have been through the last of winter and spring.  Ben's been to a couple Sundowner Stockdog Association trials, gathered for the Tate Ranch, taken a couple of road trips to visit with dog folks and see their dogs, built a sheep loading chute, worked the "garden, planted trees (well, alright "a" tree - and he's not sure he's gonna leave it where he's got it) and of course, training dogs.  Work at the AVCA has been double-time for Leslie so far this year.

Patch, left and Lena, right moving cattle at the Tate Ranch.  Our friend Matt Fullbright was riding a colt for the ranch.  Guess Patch tried to help sack it out when she heeled it a couple of times.

Bill's the new kid

on the block

(Glen Kerr's Irie x

Mark Bishop's Susie)

Those baby goats just think they're gonna get away.  Bill gets to the head and turns 'em back!

Dustin Evans, Dry Gulch Ranch, Adair, OK takes home "Shaw" (Hunter x Queen).  Dr. Elizabeth Fullbright with "Flat Stanley" a South Dakota grade school "traveling" project.

Glenn Guttridge's Liz brings in the training cattle.

Glenn works his Moss dog (left).  Roger Nunnally working his Nip dog.  Roger came to pick up his training dog, get a lesson or two on handling Nip and Glenn came along for a good catch-up visit.

Hunter x Patch pups going home.

L - R Tommy Huddleston picks up Trick, Spot goes to Todd Angel and Chris Langley takes Smooth.

Getting the garden ready??  Paul Kinney's made a couple trips down this spring.  He and Ben went dog shopping.  Paul took home a Hunter x Patch pup and one from Steve Sturtz of Texas.

Perch started not being able to use her rear, had mattery eyes, bad breath, thick urine, climbing temperature...Dr. Liz determined it was ehrlichiosis (tick stuff).  We don't know if it was from the dead rabbit she ate or first-hand from a tick.  Above Miss Lilli Kessel takes home a baby goat.

Momma Patch turns one.  Ben had an opportunity to go down to Atoka for a visit with Paul Gilbert.  They got to work dogs and visit.  Check out Paul's dogs.

The "zippy" car goes to a new home.  Matt's zippy car got the short end in a back-road collision with the coyote hunters' truck.  So since they were both gonna have to push their zippy cars to have a race, Ben parted with his.

March came in like a lamb!
