Copan, OK with "Hank" and "Rowdy", neighbor Jack Warden and
Ben geld Jack's newest horse, goat drenching time, Vern and Susan
Thorp, New Sharon, IA stay over on the way home, goats to the
Leach Sale, Dr. Liz and Matt Fullbright, Welch, OK looking
for a microscope, Allen Sanders, Bluejacket, OK and Reba,
Cowboy Junction Bill Raus Memorial Roping and Helping Hands Mens
Ministry.

It's heated up mid May -
about 20 degrees above normal. Cattle are glad
there's some water back in the pond. We still need
rain. Ponds are only about half full. |

Vern and Susan Thorp, New
Sharon, Iowa stopped by on their way through from goat
sales in Texas. The trailer was full of nice
does and young billies. |

Matt and Dr. Liz
Fullbright stopped by on their way to and from chores
and farm calls. Center is Amanda, pre-vet
student from Stillwater, helping Dr. Liz this summer. |

Yikes, Ben snapped Leslie in
her early-morning chore clothes ! Ben on Men's
Ministry Saturday. They cleaned up a big tree that
fell during a storm for someone near Vinita. |

Katahdins. Ben's going to get more of them. |

Allen Sanders, Bluejacket, OK
stopped by to pick up Reba (Colts sister). Ben and Leslie load
goats for the Leach sale. |

The "helter-skelter" garden. Ben
has a method to his gardening. He's transplanting a tomato
plant from the lettuce row to the tomato section. Yes, there
are a few weeds and some grass. We "think" that all the
squash is together with the cucumbers in the next "row" over.
Ben said there sure are strong winds down here. The carrots
seem to be several different places too. |
