Livestock Sale recently. Looks like one pony ready to head

Bill works the Vinita Livestock Sale, Irvin Beehler, Vinita,
OK picks up Buddy, Alan and Jenny Claspill, Missouri, come to
pick up Guy, Mike Kessel and Ben work calves, Don Hyler,
Ft. Smith, AR, leaves Maggie for training, neighbor Kelsey Kessel
turns 16, friend Susan Thorp, Windrush Boers and Kelpies, New
Sharon, IA stops in, and the September Ultimate Cowboy Race is a
blast.

Sweet Sixteen
Oklahoma Style! Neighbor Kelsey (Kessel) turned 16.
The neighborhood, friends and family turned our for dancing,
singing, roping and an outdoor movie. Above Kelsey gets
roasted, the dads and grandpas set up the outdoor projection
screen. Below, Tate Ranch manager Darvin Nix slides Kelsey
over the the dance floor and Jeremy Taylor (Big Cabin, OK ) and
daughter, Hannah, enjoy a fun two-step. |

Yep, it was Ultimate
Cowboy time again. Ben and I didn't compete
this time, but we didn't miss the fun.
Above, Marcus Lee (blond boy with his little
sister on the sorrel) won the 7 - 11 division and
their dad, David Lee (next to them on the sorrel)
won the 18 and over division. For more about

Susan Thorp,
Windrush Boers, made a quick trip from
Iowa to Weatherford, TX one weekend to pick up
goats purchased at a sale. Leslie went along
on the leg from Bluejacket to Lipan and back. |

The pool bath
house? Naw, Ben made it into the new shed for the
Katahdin rams in the small pasture by the house. It
comes complete with a toliet
