Amber waves...we are proud to live in
America ! Ben checking calves. |
End of November, First of December.
Puppies went home to their new owners, visits to John and Karen
Tate's, visits from good neighbors, friends and clients kept these
weeks full. Ben had some cattle work, Leslie is extra busy in
the Registry and AVCA offices, and we loved the Welch, OK parade.

Allen Sanders' new Rowdy x One
pup "Bear" he picked up right before Thanksgiving.
We stopped by Allen's to see the cat-terrorizer. At
5 weeks he was already "eating" cats. BUT it's okay
to sack out next to them. Ben and Allen shaking their
heads. |

Dub and Judy Richardson drive
over from Missouri with "Jack" last Sunday of the month.
They headed home just ahead of the big storms that were
coming through. 60 - 70 mph winds here with wilds fires
south. Lots of ranches lost pasture and round bales. |

Above left, Dana Scott's daughter Amanda with their new Border
Collie pup (Rowdy x One) they picked up right after the Welch
Christmas parade. Ben and Leslie rode with the Cowboy Junction
Riders. One of the littlest parade riders above right. Top of
photo are neighbors Jack and Corky Warden with grandkids in the
wagon behind their black Fox Trotter. Jack drove the wagon
from their place east of us the 6 or 7 miles to Welch and back.
Brrrrrrr, it turned off cold and windy that afternoon the 3rd. |
